Pat Travers Band San Antonio reviews
AMAZING SHOW!!
"I've been to many genres of concerts - from classic rock like Elton John, Aerosmith, Steve Miller, Tom Petty, to newer acts like Stone Temple Pilots, Dropkick Murphy's, Black Eyed Peas, Them Crooked Vultures, Flogging Molly, Green Day, Kid Rock, Blues Traveler (very abridged list). Additionally, I've been an avid concert goer for about the last 15 years (I'm 27). This show was absolutely incredible. They came out and played a full multi-song encore and during the thunderous applause that followed the encore they embraced, James checked his watch, and called over to side stage for one more song. It seemed as though Carole, James, and the band wanted nothing more than just to jam with each other, and that the fact that there were 20,000 people watching them was a big surprise and a deep honor. The way they interacted with each other on stage could have been taking place at a family holiday party in front of the fireplace trading stories and old standards and getting the group to join in. I've previously seen both Carole King (with Gloria Estefan) and Pat Travers Band (at John Kerry's election night party). It was simply awesome, one of the best concerts I've ever been to."
